The 'Orchestral' Score for Ho

The 'Orchestral' Score layout is finally completed. I presume it may need adjustments and refinement but at least, I have a framework to start layering every aspect of each sonic scene.

'Instrumentation' for Ho including a reduced layout for a couple of scenes:

In text form:

* INTERFACES
---> CARTOGRAPHIC AID/ TIME MACHINE
---> NAVIGATOR
---> THROTTLE
---> CLASSIC MATRIX

* AUDIO AND TEXT
---> precomposed
---> retrieved material
---> SOUND DESIGN
---> NARRATOR
---> TEXT

* SOUND DIFFUSION
---> Automated Surround
---> Organic Diffusion (live)

* AUDIO VISUAL MATERIAL
---> FILM
---> CARTOGRAPHIC AID/ TIME MACHINE
---> Slow movement image
---> 3D animation
---> Composition Info
---> Real-time data

* SCENES
---> NAVIGATOR INTRO
---> HO CHI MINH ZEBRA CROSSING
---> HO LIFE (Radio Scene)
---> CAT TIEN NATIONAL PARK
---> VIETNAM KITCHEN PARTY
---> RICKSHAW TRIP
---> VIETCONG BATTLE

---> HANOI ISLAND LABYRINTH

It was a complex jigsaw to be solved and I did not have that many references to look into. A good source of inspiration was the 'Audiovisual Score' [1] from the film 'Alexander Nevsky' directed by Sergei Eisenstein with music score by Sergei Prokofiev.
